  •  Components of Balance: Vision, Vestibular and Proprioception
    • Vision tells you where you are in perspective of other objects and can sense motion between you and the environment
    • Vestibular is the inside of your inner ear that maintains equilibrium and is sensitive to changes in head position
    • Proprioception is the use of muscles to detect changes in muscle length or tension. This information is sent to your central nervous system and gives you a sense of spatial position and movement 

Fitness & Sports

Weight Loss

Health consultant will create a fitness plan that works well with the client’s goals and support maximum weight loss when coupled with an individualized meal plan

Sports Specific

Work with a health consultant on skills that are particular to the client’s sport as well as moves that will protect the body from further damage

Strength

Health consultant work with clients to build up their muscle strength and muscle memory. Strengthening the muscles around problem areas, such as spraining ankles or lower back pain, will help to support the affected area from further damage

Sports Balance

Health consultant will teach the client how to train their body to make better use of the strength that they already have, putting an emphasis on learning to move efficiently with little effort. This will result in a lesser risk for injury

Dynamic Stretching

Are active movements where joints and muscles go through a full range of motion or movement

The health consultant will teach the client various dynamic stretches. Dynamic stretching helps to warm the body up before exercising and can be functional, mimicking the movement of the activity/sport you’re about to perform
